Introducing Breezi ✨
Our public waitlist is LIVE
Welcome to Easy, Breezi.
Your friend who sends you a weekly update on what she's working on, reading through, and thinking about – in a list.
We have so much to catch up on but today is also launch day so I’m setting myself a timer for 25 minutes, writing as much as I can (as coherently as possible) and hitting send.
Oh and all in a list, duh!
1. Our public waitlist is LIVE!
For the last few months, we’ve been building a new space on the internet, inspired by our notes app. A place where we can put down random thoughts, favorite memories, life advice, and more.
Ahead of our upcoming app store launch, we are letting you join the waitlist and claim you username at https://www.getbreezi.com/
Trust me, the first name only handle will be a flex.
2. We raised $600k from Neo
This past month, we were one of 20 companies selected to be part of Neo’s 2024 Accelerator, where we got to learn and build among some of the best.
Neo is led by Ali Partovi (early angel in Facebook) and Suzanne Xie (prev. Director of Product Management at Twitter) who have both brought immense value to our product roadmap, iteration cycles and GTM distribution.
I would highly recommend Neo to any founder who is looking for mentorship, investment and an trajectory-altering experience.
I miss it already!
3. I got my O1 visa
Shoutout to the team at Compass Visas for working day in and day out to help me secure my O1 visa.
I love being Canadian but I knew we had to build Breezi in the heart of NYC. If any of you guys are curious about the visa process or want to know more about my specific application and eligibility criteria, just hit reply to this email and I’m more than happy to share more.
4. We’ve brought on Dave Schatz as an angel investor
Dave is the cofounder of Gas App, alongside Nikita Bier and Zay Turner. In months, they were able to build an app for Gen Z that landed top of the chart and was later acquired by Discord.
I met Dave through Ben Shanken, another mentor of mine and since the beginning, he has graciously offered his time to jump on calls, review product roadmaps and help us figure out how to build in virality to our product.
Safe to say I am obsessed with our cap table.
The goat!
5. We are hiring!
If you are as excited as we are about building the future of social, please reach out. We looking to hire across engineering, product and growth 👋
That’s it for now, my 25 minutes are up!
If you found anything in this newsletter helpful, I'd love to connect on Twitter – tweet me a screenshot of your favorite part and let's chat 👋
I'll be back next week with more lists!
